Downtown Manteo Tapas Crawl

$45.00 – $60.00Cross the bridge to our Island Oasis and sample what the OBX cuisine scene is all about. Your 4 stops on the Tapas Crawl include a tour and rum tasting at The OBX Distillery, tapas and spirits at Ortegaz, Full Moon Cafe and Brewery, and The Avenue Grille. All are within, well, “crawling” distance of each other and you can stop in any order.
Tapas selections at each of the 3 restaurants feature fresh, local seafood and the finest of local ingredients. Artfully presented with savory Island flair! Each tapas plate will have a small portion of each item listed in the menus below. Signature cocktail, tasty craft beer or a premium glass of wine are included at each stop. You may “crawl” in any order you like.
The Outer Banks Distillery stop includes a tour of their newly renovated historic facility and a tasting of their signature rum ‘Kill Devil Hills’. Tours are every 1/2 hour on the half hour from 5-8:30.

Crab Cake with Kill Devil Hills Rum Roumalade
Blackened Jerk Sea Scallop with Chimmi Churri Glaze
Outer Banks Shrimp and Grits
The Avenue Grille Tapas plate will feature ALL of these items:
Cured beef, hard cheese, focaccia and micro green salad
Squid Ceviche Salad
Drunken Shrimp, Coconut Rice, Tropical Fruit Jam
Banana Fritter with Kill Devil Rum Sauce and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Ortegaz Tapas plate will feature ALL of these items:
Oysters & Pearls- oyster on the half shell with smoked creme fraiche “pearls”, tobikko, and yuzu kosho.
Scallop crude with sriacha buttermilk, toasted poppy seeds, orange zest, cilantro & jalapeño infused oil, grenadine pickled scallions and fennel fonds.
Lump crab salad with mint, basil, blood orange segments, arugula, goat cheese sable.
Avocado and coconut ice cream.
There are two sessions for this event each night (Friday and Saturday) so please order carefully below. Tickets purchased for one session by mistake will not be able to be transferred to another without refund and repurchase. Again the session times are 5-7pm and 7-9pm. You can do the distillery part of the tour anytime you can fit it in on the evening of your purchase between 5 and 8:30pm. (Must be 21 to take the tour.)
