"Delightful and Affordable" - proclaims The Washington Post.
Not stuffy, just great OBX eats in an affordable, upbeat Outer Banks restaurant. Since opening in the fall of 1995, The Full Moon Cafe has been a favorite Outer Banks dining destination for both locals and visitors alike. Now renamed the Lost Colony Brewery & Café, but still serving the same wonderful food along with an awesome selection of crafted ales by owner and Brewmaster, Paul Charron.
The menu, an amalgam of cuisines from around the world, is arguably the most unusual on the Outer Banks. On any given day, Lost Colony Brewery & Café customers dine on Creamy Crab Bisque, Baked Brie with Almonds and Apples, Fresh Local Seafood, Cuban Black Beans and Rice, Grilled Angus Beef and much, much more. The food is diverse, intriguing, delicious, incredibly fresh, and never, ever boring.
The Lost Colony Brewery & Cafe is located by the clock tower on the corner of Sir Walter Raleigh and Queen Elizabeth Streets in the village of Manteo on historic Roanoke Island.
