Evan Hayes is the head chef at Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar and an “alum” to Blue Moon Beach Grill, sister restaurant in Nags Head. Evan has over 14 years of experience cooking at fine dining establishments on the Outer Banks and began his culinary career at a very young age in his parent’s Upper Crust Bakery in Greenville, NC. He attended Johnson and Wales University in Norfolk, VA and has been featured on UNC-TV’s cooking show, Flavor, NC. Evan also owns a small catering business, Island Thyme Cooking Company, specializing in personal chef services.
