Join us for an Italian inspired dinner featuring seafood from our shores, prepared in traditional Tuscan flavors. Spoil yourself with a 7+ course tasting menu accompanied by paired Italian wines. This is a plated, individually served, 7 course dinner but you will be seated family style so you can get to interact and meet other attendees while you dine and between courses. We received many compliments from guests last year saying they really enjoyed meeting others and sharing this experience.
Enjoy the gorgeous setting of the oceanfront Honor vacation home by Carolina Designs. This will be the first time at this home, but is sure be the perfect setting for our pop-up dinner. Carolina Designs has once again graciously allowed us the use of one of their amazing event homes. Honor is a grand oceanfront estate specifically designed for those vacationing in large groups. Professionally decorated with upscale coastal decor, this beach retreat is awash in a cheerful palette of colors and is finished with distinctive upgrades and fine furnishings. Resort-style outdoor amenities will captivate the attention of all age groups, and a private beach walkway leads to the sandy shoreline and breaking waves. A gourmet kitchen provides ample space for multiple chefs. Serve meals in the dining area furnished with three tables that seat forty-two guests.
Sparkling White Wine (0n the oceanfront deck weather permitting) with… Charculerie Board with salami, pate, curried ham, and condiments; along with an Artisan Cheese Platter with dried fruit, candied nuts, fig preserves, artisan cracker and breads.
Oysters Rockefeller – Oysters on the half shell topped with sauteed spinach and a garlic cream sauce roasted, served hot and bubbly.
Clams In Wine w/Italian bread for dipping – Little neck clams in white wine, garlic herbs spices and finished with butter served with Italian bread.
Roasted Quail on creamy grits with mushrooms.
Rockfish Oreganata – Local Rockfish fillet dusted in bread crumbs, sauteed and served with olio sauce (olive oil, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt & pepper).
Filet Mignon with Caperberries & Cherry Peppers – Grilled beef tenderloin (med-rare) with bordelaise sauce and garnished with sauteed caperberry and cherry peppers in butter, mashed potatoes and broccolini.
Spumoni – pistachio, black cherry & chocolate Italian gelato with amaretto cookie.
